Government Spending / Economy
We have just experienced the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. Fortunately, our nation appears to be on the path to recovery. We have been given an opportunity. We can look at ways to cut spending and keep our government fiscally responsible, or we can ignore the structural deficits that we face each year and watch as our country heads toward the next Great Recession. I believe we must embrace this opportunity and look to keep cutting government spending. Fiscally responsible government is the only type of government I support.
Immigration
I oppose illegal immigration. We must stop the flood of immigrants who are entering our country through our porous borders. This is one of the greatest threats to our national security.
2nd Amendment
The 2nd Amendment states: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” I support the right of law-abiding citizens to own firearms.
