MEET NATHAN 

councilman | attorney | community advocate

Nathan is a lifelong Republican and resident of Pasadena. He attended Anne Arundel County public schools and graduated from Chesapeake High School. At CHS, he met his wife, Kristi. They married in 2013 and live in Pasadena with their two children.

Education

Nathan attended UMBC, where he majored in political science and graduated with honors. He then attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating at 23. 

Career

Upon graduation from law school, Nathan completed a clerkship with Anne Arundel County Circuit Court Judge Paul F. Harris, Jr. He then began working as an attorney in private practice in Anne Arundel County. He currently practices family law in Annapolis with the Law Offices of Stacey B. Rice, LLC and has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for Family Law each year from 2015-2021.

Community Involvement

Since November 2018, Nathan has represented District 3 on the Anne Arundel County Council. Nathan has established a reputation as a vocal conservative, fighting to protect Anne Arundel County from special interests and tax increases.

From 2010 to 2018, Nathan served on the Republican State Central Committee for Anne Arundel County (AAGOP). As Chairman of the AAGOP from 2013 to 2016, Nathan worked with elected officials, candidates and activists to build the grassroots Republican Party and elect Republicans to office during the 2014 and 2016 elections.

 

Nathan is a former member of the Anne Arundel County Library Board of Trustees, and previously served on the board of directors for the North County Republican Club. He is a member of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, and served on County Executive Schuh’s Office of Law Transition Team in 2014. He attends Hope Springs Community Church and previously served as part of the praise team.
